Terms of Service
The short version: Ziri is a free service that emails you when a flight goes on sale. We don't sell flights, we can't promise the alert will always arrive, and you can stop it at any time with the link in every email.
1. Agreement
By using ziri.app ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You must be 16 or older to create an alert. We may change these terms; the date above tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
2. What the Service does
Ziri checks whether a given route and month are on sale with a low-cost airline, and lets you ask to be emailed when a route that is not yet on sale opens for booking.
The Service is free. There are no accounts, no passwords and no payment. An alert is an email address, a route and a set of dates. The only credential is the unique link we put in each email.
We are independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any airline. We do not sell, reserve or hold tickets. Every booking link takes you to the airline's own website, where the airline's own terms apply.
3. What the Service does not promise
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In particular we do not promise that:
- availability information is accurate, complete or current. It comes from the airline and can change at any moment;
- an alert will be sent, or will be sent promptly. Email can be delayed, filtered as spam or lost;
- the Service will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. It runs on modest infrastructure and may go offline;
- a fare shown when booking opens will still be available when you get there. Opening prices commonly rise as seats sell.
Always check the airline's own site before you make travel plans or spend money.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- create alerts for an email address that isn't yours;
- use scripts or automated tools to create alerts in bulk, or to scrape the Service;
- try to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other people's alerts, including by guessing alert links;
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law, or that disrupts it for anyone else.
We rate-limit alert creation and may stop sending to an address that is being abused, without notice.
5. Your data
What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: an email address, the route and dates you asked about, and basic technical data needed to stop abuse. We do not sell it.
6. Stopping an alert
Every email we send contains a link that cancels the alert. You can also write to support@ziri.app and ask us to delete everything we hold about you.
We may cancel an alert, or stop serving you, if these terms are broken or if we retire the Service. Since the Service is free and holds nothing of yours, this costs you nothing but the alert.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service, including a missed booking, a fare that rose, an alert that arrived late or never arrived, or information that turned out to be wrong.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Because the Service is free, no other liability cap is offered and none is needed: our total liability to you is nil beyond those exceptions.
These terms don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Intellectual property
The name, design and code of ziri.app belong to us. Flight and airport data belongs to the airlines and data sources it came from. You may use the Service for your own travel planning; please don't republish or resell what it produces.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
10. General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion doesn't waive it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us.
